It’s not every day you see a shot of Cedar Falls like this one, and I’ll tell you why: Because it is incredibly hard to cross the stream when it’s running this well. After crossing halfway through the creek with water up to my torso, I was beginning to wonder if I should turn back. However, once committed it’s hard to turn back and crossing the stream in three and a half feet of water was well worth it.
To be honest, I have never seen a shot of Cedar Falls from this angle and that’s exactly why I wanted to get one.
I’m going to keep this post short and sweet and just say that I wish you all a very Merry Christmas this year. It’s been a great year for photography and I have enjoyed looking back over the many photographs I’ve produced. I hope they have given you just as much joy as they have brought me!
Cheers to 2014 and I hope that it brings with it all you’ve ever hoped for!
